Hillary Clinton was the 2016 Democratic nominee for president. She served as the 67th U.S. Secretary under the administration of President Barack Obama for the first four years. A former U.S senator from New York first elected in 2000. In 2008, she was a presidential candidate. When her husband, Bill Clinton, served for two terms as president, she also served as the first lady. Hillary was born in Chicago in 1947, graduated from Wellesley College and attained a law degree at Yale Law School. The couple has one daughter.

1. She is brave and adventurous  

In the year 1961 to 1962, Hillary Clinton as a teenager wrote to NASA about her passion of becoming an astronaut, and they discouraged her by responding, “We don’t take girls.” Additionally, at the age of 27, she was denied the chance of joining the marines on the grounds that she was a woman, could not see clearly and too old.

2. A Lover of hot sauce 

Loves hot sauce. Clinton uses hot sauce on almost all of her food including salads. Actually, she even travels with red pepper flakes and a small bottle of Tabasco Hot Sauce on all trips. She once told the CBS News that she maintains her stamina while on the campaign trail by using hot chilly to keep her metabolism revved up and healthy.

Hillary Clinton was the first Lady to acquire a postgraduate degree from Yale Law in 1973 and to contest for and be elected Senator of NY in 2000. She was among the 27 women in a class of 235 students at Yale Law.

She dressed Salmon fish at a small cannery in Alaska after graduating from Wellesley College. Her job was to remove salmon guts using a spoon and pack them in boxes for shipping to the bigger processing plants. She noticed some of the fish she was packing were not healthy and raised concerns to the man in charge who brushed her off. Due to her persistence, the manager disregarded Hillary’s concern, fired her and was told to return the following day to pick up her last check off.

But when Hillary went back the following day, she found the entire cannery had disappeared and wasn’t paid for the work she had done.

The Whitewater scandal was all about the investigation of whether the Clintons were involved. Hillary and Bill Clinton alongside their associates Jim and Susan McDougal invested in a failed real estate business venture in the 1970s and 1980s called Whitewater Development Corporation. Two accusations were raised against Hillary Clinton at that time. The first one was that she forced an Arkansas businessman to initiate a loan that would advantage him and the proprietors of Madison Guaranty. Secondly, these dealings were done secretly. In May 1994, the former president and his wife were subpoenaed for all the linked documents with a time limit of 30 days.

The story behind these cookies is that she used to prepare them, congressman,, and other politicians when she was Arkansas' first lady. 12. Her secret service code name, while she was the first lady, was “Evergreen”

The awarding secret service code name is a tradition in the presidential campaign practice where journalists compete to find out which one-word term will hang around the forthcoming president for the subsequent four years.
