The coffee is one of the most popular drink in the world. The main reasons are its great taste and the fact that people use it as an apparent energy recovery. Many people are not aware that consuming a coffee extends a life, and reduces the risk of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Those who drink at least one cup of coffee a day during four years have an eleven percent less chance to get a type two diabetes. Coffee drinkers who use to consume at least four cups of coffee have a 20 percent less chance to suffer from skin cancer.

Since many people cannot start their day without drinking coffee, now we are going to share seven tips for making that pleasing ritual healthy and efficient.

1. Sweetening with cinnamon or ginger

For all coffee lovers, we suggest adding cinnamon instead of traditional sugar. Not only the tastes are going to match perfectly, but one teaspoon of cinnamon every morning can be helpful in reducing the level of sugar in the blood as well as the amount of cholesterol. Studies have shown that the smell of cinnamon increases the cognitive functions, and the ingestion can improve the brain abilities. Cinnamon accelerates visual-motor reactions and enhances the concentration. It also has natural antibacterial abilities, and it is particularly effective against E.coli. Additionally, the ginger is also a great solution that perfectly matches with coffee and helps calm the stomach problems. Apart from this, ginger increases the production of lactic acid in muscle tissues which can stimulate the release of growth hormone as well as to burn the fat.

2. Using the butter instead of milk

The milk and cream are not the healthiest additions to our favorite drink. Therefore we can keep the taste quality with just a dice of unsalted butter. Doing so, we can reduce the caloric intake. The founder of the idea of using butter in combination with coffee is the American entrepreneur Dave Asprey. Namely, he created a so-called bullet-proof diet. The regime of eating too many high fats and a few carbs can protect the body against fatigue and chronic diseases while promising a dramatic weight loss. The coffee with butter is the central part of the success of Asprey's diet regime, and he claims that the implementation of his diet should include the organic coffee, unsalted butter, and organic coconut oil.

3. Mixing the coffee with coconut water

Not only the coconut water will sweeten your coffee, but it will also improve the hydration of your entire body. Moreover, coconut water is an excellent source of potassium which reduces the risk of heart attack or stroke, as well as the high blood pressure. It is a wonderful substitute for pasteurized cow's milk or processed soy milk. Some people use it for washing their face because it cleans the whole face and acne, calms the flabby skin and hydrates it. You should not confuse the coconut water with coconut milk. Namely, the coconut milk is a part of the coconut fruit which is extremely high caloric and with a high percent of saturated fat. However, coconut water has a few calories, low level of fat, and high valume of potassium.

4. Utilizing the organic coffee grains

Many people think it is not the case with coffee, but the artificially grown plants may contain pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, chemical fertilizers, and other potentially harmful chemicals. The greatest threat to the health is that some pesticides can act as xenoestrogens or toxins that mimic estrogens by sending false signals, blocking or mimicking hormones and thus threaten the health. It further leads to disturbance in hormonal balance in both women and men. That is why instead of buying the economically cheap coffee grains, think about your health and buy more quality coffee that will pay off in a long-term.

5. Drinking coffee after breakfast

The vast majority of people tend to drink the coffee as soon as they wake up in the morning, but it is probably not the smartest thing to do because caffeine can cause the release of sugar from the blood which further leads to disabling the insulin and decreasing the level of sugar in the blood. As a result of this, your body will require more sugar which in the end results in a craving for food. Studies have also shown that consumption of coffee right before the breakfast affects the physical production of cortisol, which can increase the tolerance to caffeine and cause addiction.

6. Consuming the cold coffee

According to studies, cold coffee is better for your health than the hot one. In fact, it is 67 percent less toxic. It does not mean you should leave it to become cold, but you should rather make it cold. The recipe is pretty straightforward. Put the ground coffee in cold water and leave it there for twelve hours. Afterward, just filtrate the mixture, and your favorite drink is ready for consumption. You can even heat it up if you prefer so. That way of preparing the coffee is called Toddy system, and its specialty is in the fact that it will make a significantly less damage to your stomach. Furthermore, cold coffee tastes better than the hot one because the oils from the grains oxidize during the heating and they release a particular acid which gives a coffee bittersweet sour taste.

7. Making the foam

If you are one of those people who love the coffee with milk foam rather than buying a professional coffee machine, the only solution is to learn to prepare the milk foam by yourself. The only thing you need is the milk with at least two percent of butterfat, a glass dish, microwave oven, and two minutes of your time. Put the milk in a glass bowl and heat it up in a microwave oven until it gets hot. After that, put the lid on a glass dish and shake it for twenty seconds until you get the milk foam. Put the milk in coffee so that you keep the foam with a spoon. In the end, use the resulting foam and put it right in the coffee. That is it!
